Surrounded by poplar, spruce and fir trees on a rocky shoreline of beautiful Lake Winnipeg, this stylish and rustic cottage is not what you would expect as you walk down a secluded path into an enchanting forest.

This well-loved family cottage has created numerous lifetime memories. It was designed by Winnipeg architect Jac Comeau and purchased by our family in the fall of 2010.  We have been the first and only owners of this cottage only 2 hours north of Winnipeg Manitoba.

This comfortable and natural getaway was featured in the 2010 July/August issue of The Cottager magazine. This wonderful 3 bedroom + loft lakefront cottage with a natural interior is situated in a secluded subdivision on the west side of Lake Winnipeg. The lot offers spectacular limestone caves and panoramic views along the lakefront.

This stylish and comfortable cottage was built using locally milled lumber and reclaimed wood flooring, as well as rough-hewn spruce for shelving, beds and dining table. Enormous windows allow an abundance of natural light that complements the rustic appeal and charm. An open floor plan allows for families to connect and private spaces allow for alone time.

A wonderfully designed screened front porch running the width of the cottage exposes the best views of the lake as well as the morning sun and the nighttime moonlight. This porch is an incredible retreat where you feel in harmony with nature and experience peace and quiet.
